Born and educated in West London I continued studies with the London School of Printing and Graphic Arts, the Advertising Association and the Institute of Marketing. My career in publicity, advertising, promotions, merchandising, sales, marketing and training evolved from the Rank Organisation through Ripley Preston Advertising; Commercial Plastics; Mercantile Credit; IPC Magazines; Readers Digest; BATS; The Falcon Pipe Group; BT and Pass Training.

In parallel, I recorded for Decca, wrote for the music press, produced music promotions, radio and tv commercials

I keep a presence in the music business presenting programmes on local commercial radio stations. I am also the Editor of The Langstonian magazine.
